About Jeffrey Jones
Jeff is a seasoned financial professional with a background that includes having served as the CFO for four different companies, two of which were family owned enterprises and one of which was sponsored by a private equity firm. Jeff successfully provided financial leadership for these organizations as they addressed a broad range of challenges that included the acquisition and integration of competitors, resolving liquidity concerns arising from unsatisfactory operating results, and upgrading of information systems. Jeff’s skills and experience include the following:
- Turnaround environments
- Cash forecasting
- Inventory costing and controls
- Internal control systems
- Interaction with investment banking firms including the preparation of Confidential Information Memoranda.
- Multi-site operations
- Mergers and acquisitions including post acquisition integration planning and execution
- ERP system selection and implementaton
After graduating from the University of Delaware with a BS in Accounting, Jeff began his career in Big 8 public accounting. He spent 7 years with the firm of Coopers & Lybrand where he developed a strong understanding of the importance of financial controls, financial reporting and inventory costing and margin analysis. This experience provided him with the tools to effectively transition into the private sector where he has led five different manufacturers, first as the Controller and then as the CFO for the final four organizations. These companies had annual revenues ranging from $30 million to $140 million.
Jeff resides in Harrisburg, PA with his wife, Richelle. They have five children and two grandchildren.
